February's ramble saw eight hardy walkers starting off from West Marden in breezy conditions. Walking past Locksash Farm, it was lovely to see the snowdrops in their fully glory. Gradually climbing, we headed towards Telegraph Hill where unfortunately, the misty conditions prevented a clear view of Butser Hill. We did, however, learn the source of Ruby's secret supply of wild raspberries and blackberries (your secret's safe with us!) After resting at the Coach and Horses at Compton, there was a gradual climb up a sticky path before eventually joining up with the road back to West Marden.
