We would like to put your minds at rest regarding the situation in the chapel at Queen Alexandra Hospital. The morning service is ecumenical and communion is offered to all Christian faiths, but members of the congregation who do not wish to receive communion are invited to bow their heads for a blessing. We are always able to help a patient to leave, if necessary, for whatever reason, and everyone co-operates to make an easy exit. The service is always beautiful and peaceful, and we would not wish you to be worried about attending if you find yourself in hospital.
