YOUTH CLUB

The Youth Club starts back on Friday 16th January with the AGM followed by a Games evening. A longcast programme has been produced to cover the period up to July, but the later dates are subject to amendment nearer the time.

The immediate programme includes ten pin bowling, swimming, a visit to the PDSA Hospital, and many other activities some old and some new. Attendance at the once a month Family Service on the first Sunday of the month is compulsory for all members.

We were sad to say farewell to Claire Watts and Simon Monk in December, but hope to meet up with them again via The Link Group. As a result of our 16 year old members leaving we are always looking for new members. If anyone knows of an 11 plus child who might benefit from Youth Club please let Jane, Tony, Colin or Rosemary know and we will follow up. From recent performances in both Church and Pantomime there is no doubt that Youth Club does "bring out" children.

Jane and Tony will be away for most of this coming term so any queries should be addressed to Rosemary or Colin who will be holding the fort from February onwards. Many thanks to them. We still need volunteers to come along from time to time and help out at Youth Club. I can vouch for this being a rewarding task and would be pleased to answer any questions from anyone interested.
