YOUTH CLUB REPORT

After a long summer break, Youth Club has started again at 8.30.pm on Friday nights We now have about 20 members, and look forward to many interesting activities, and our week long annual narrow boat holiday at the October half term.

We organised and presented the family Service at the beginning of September with a play entitled The Ghosts of Churches Past, Present and the Future in aid of Stewardship Sunday.

Our Fund raising horse race night raised £150 and many thanks are due to all who came and / or sponsored horses. On October 18th a party from the Youth Club and Link Group are going to the Winchester Youthquake with live Christian Rock Bands and Christian workshops, and finishing with the traditional grand firework display.

We have a very varied programme this term, details of which can be found on the Youth Noticeboard in the hall. We still have a few vacancies for 11+ year olds to join.

We have co-opted the services of Larysa and Colin Thatcher and Pauline Jackson to help Jane, Jane C, Sandra, Dick and myself, so hopefully our Leadership problem is at an end for the time being.
