CHILDREN OF RWANDA

When Children in Rwanda lose a toth, they don't leave it for the tooth fairy. They put it on the roof of their house, so that the tooth bird can come and take it away.

In Nicaragua children are visited not by a fairy but by a tooth rat. Which explains why rats have so many teeth! Children in India throw their milk teeth into the thatch on the roof for the squirrels to take away and replace with new teeth.

Rwanda, India and Nicaragua were the focus of this year's Christian Aid Appeal.
