WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

This year the Interdenominational Women's World Day of Prayer will be held in St George's Church at 2.pm on Friday 5th March. The Christian women of Panama have prepared this lovely service, and their theme is "In Faith - Women Shape the Future".

Everyone has heard of Panama hats and the Panama Canal which links the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but few of us know much about the country which is about the size of Scotland. Panama is a beautiful land with dense tropical rain forests, deep rivers, cool mountains and an extinct volcano. Its tropical climate never falls below 23°C but its rainy season lasts for nine months!

So please join us on this special day when the world comes together in prayer. The same service will take place at Christ Church, Widley that evening at 7.30.pm. You are all welcome.
