Parish Matters

The churchyard paving has continued to feature in PCC discussions and it is expected that, with the help of a grant, work will commence in the very near future. This will no doubt come as welcome news to the congregation.

The new, seasonal Orders of Service have been well received and Fr Mike is now planning to introduce binders to hold the increasing number of hymns printed on loose sheets. The new church logo, designed by Richard Spurgeon, is, as you will have noticed, now in use on St George's publications and stationery, and it will gradually be incorporated into other areas of church life, replacing the old logo.

At the end of the last meeting, on 15th March, Fr Mike thanked all those members of the PCC, the Deanery Synod representatives, the Treasurer and the Secretary, all of whom are standing down at the APCM on 17th April.

The first meeting of the new PCC will be on Tuesday 26th April at The Vicarage.

The copies of all minutes are displayed at the back of church, together with a copy of the Annual Report for 2004.
