We asked a recent Bride and Groom to arrange for a family review of their wedding experience at St George's and they were kind enough to provide this report.... Wedding of Natasha Barron and Kieron O'connor Saturday 3rd Sept 2005 - 3pm First of all, I would like to say that we were very thankful for the weather. A warm sunny day was certainly well deserved after the 18 month preparation for the big day! This made for an elegant entrance with many onlookers and perfect conditions for photos afterwards. As brother of the bride, I was fortunate enough to have a front row viewing of the ceremony. Having only been to two previous weddings, I cannot compare as such, all I can say is that it was everything I have come to expect from a wedding. From the 'Do you take' to the 'til death do us part', all was as authentic as Hollywood lead you to believe! A nice touch I felt was the demonstration of 'tying the knot', being physically shown by the Priest's stole. The relaxed view on photography and video footage was appreciated, as these days only come around once. For my sister and now brother-in-law to be able to watch the entire service in years to come I'm sure will be gift treasured. All in all a perfect day, which I'm sure everyone who was there will agree with. Many thanks to all at St George's Church who were involved in making the day possible. Clint Barron |
