Financial Update

December Income shows Votive box at £160, Plant Sales at £130 and income from investments totalling £540.33. The Bazaar brought in £2,052.96 which included a number of donations. Pickle sales were £37.05 and the Parish Breakfast £24.55. Magazine sales amount to £197.09.

The collection from the Service with the Horndean Band came to £41.52, the Carol Service collection was £57.46 and the Christingle Service collection amounted to £273.12 in aid of the Children's Society. The Church has also received a donation from the 100 Club of £589.75.

December outgoings include Parish Share of £3690 and fees payable to the Diocese of £246 (fees payable to the Diocese for weddings/funerals etc) which brings us up to date for 2005.

Other major outgoings include £240 boiler service, £90 piano tuning and £120 advance payment for the Pompey Chimes.

Thanks to our Wednesday Coffee mornings, we have been able to donate funds to various Charities and have received letters of thanks from them. Those thanks are passed to all who have been involved.

I have also received letters of thanks from those Charities supported by the Church's Retiring Collections during the year.

I am due to start working on the end of year accounts and have already received information from the various Groups. I would appreciate the remaining information as soon as possible, please. (You know who you are!!!)

I am approaching the end of my first year as Treasurer, where 2005 could have been better. Thank you all for your patience and I hope that 2006 will be a good year for us all.
