Waterlooville Good Neigbours Group

Twelve years ago it was agreed by the PCC that this group should be set up, as St George's response to Bishop Timothy's initiative "The Way Ahead?" which was similar to the present KAIROS investigation.

The Group continues to serve a need in our community today. Numerous activities are undertaken including shopping, medical/hospital appointments, home visits, pension/prescription collection, etc.

Our church volunteers have aged or died so that John and Margaret Symonds remain the only (and occasional) volunteers from St George's Church. If you feel able to give a few hours regularly or occasionally, when the need arises, please contact the Good Neighbours on 9226 6005. Your help would be greatly appreciated by the local elderly people. Mileage is paid to volunteer drivers.
