Moonwalk 2007

I’m pleased to say that Jane, Sally and myself successfully completed the Playtex Moonwalk on Saturday 19th May. We crossed the finish line after 6 hours and 24 minutes (an improvement on last year), managing to maintain our pace over the 26.2 miles (averaging 14 minutes per mile). The weather was relatively kind to us; it didn’t rain but was quite windy which lowered the temperature somewhat preventing us from walking in our bras! Walking through London at night was fun with so much to see and many people around to encourage us on. The atmosphere during the walk was incredible; it wasn’t an easy walk but when we crossed the finish line we felt elated that we had completed the challenge well.
