At the end of June the bank balance stood at £2,104.61, which is rather low bearing in mind the fantastic outcome of the Fete day.
Retiring collection to Macmillan Nurses raised £155.35. After raising £113 at the Parish Lunch in April, a further £130 has been raised in favour of Koforidua. After Margaret Symonds’ very moving talk on the 29th July, the current amount raised for St. George’s in Baghdad is £482.65. This includes a £50 donation from the Wednesday Coffee Morning collections. A bottle of 5p pieces was donated and you will be interested to learn that this amounted to £67.60. (And don’t worry, it didn’t take too long for me to count!!) I am unable to provide a month end bank balance as these figures are not to hand. July income and outgoing figures are up to 24th July and I would expect the balance to be similar to that of June. I have been informed by Lloyds TSB Bank that they intend to start treating the PCC account as a business and will apply charges from 10th August 2007. With the PCC’s approval I am looking to move the account to another bank who will provide free banking services. Once the new account is up and running I hope that standing order donations received will be automatically transferred to the new account but would ask those of you who do use this method to be prepared to sign a standing order amendment form which I will produce for you. As always, if you have any queries please feel free to come and ask and I will endeavour to provide the information needed. Carol McKells |
