On 8th May Jan Perkins came to talk and show us products to do with Holistic Therapy.

The Company, which is Swiss, is called ‘Just Body Care’, it has been going for 75 years but only 10 years in this country.

We were all given a sheet with A to Z Elements on it.

Jan asked for volunteers to have a Pedibath. All products are guaranteed for 14 days. The Pedibath was put into warm water. Only two teaspoons needed; soak feet for 15 minutes. This cost £8.95 for a 500g tube.

After 15 minutes, dry your feet and put Pedicream on them; this is £8.95 also. It can be applied to chapped lips, also as a handcream, on rough dry skin, for piles and relieves stress.

Heather Ball volunteered to have her face applied with various creams. The first one was Vital Cleansing Gel. This cost £17.50. It has Edelweiss as one of the ingredients. Then Skin Function Oil was applied. This is £11.95. Vital Night Cream was massaged into Heather’s face, and lastly Vital Eye Cream was smoothed around the eyes. Normally you would be lying down for the treatments, so you are more relaxed.

A bowl was passed around us containing liquid. This was called Mountain Hayseed with Edelweiss. Looking on the list that Jan gave us, this could be used for Hay Fever, to give you energy, for immune system, and Rheumatism.

Jan had a massage brush called a “Dry Brush” with a long handle. This is used to get rid of dead skin, to stimulate the feet, and it helps with poor circulation. Trecia Aspey volunteered to have her arm massaged. This should be done before your bath or shower.

Jan said one of her favourites is “Sensuous Bath”. It has a lovely smell of roses. It lasts up to six hours and costs £19.50. Another one Jan uses is Pearl of Just Herbal Oil 31. This helps if you suffer with headaches. The price is £21.95.

Jan had raffle tickets at £1 a strip, there were three creams to win. £25 was raised to go towards our charity.
