Winter Edition 2013

Women’s World Day of Prayer

Every year on 1st Friday in March, women across the world will be united in prayer - over three million will be taking part in a day of prayer that circles the Globe from the time the sun rises over the island of Tonga until it finally sets over the island of Samoa.

The centre act of our worship, which is prepared by the Christian women of France, will take place at St Wilfrid’s Church, Cowplain at 2.pm on that day.

Over 170 countries will be taking part and women, men and young people of all denominations will be welcomed!

Refreshments will follow.
