David is Director of Music at St. George’s Waterlooville where he is, alongside a very talented group of singers and players, responsible for organising the music. He is a Master’s Graduate of the Open University, an Associate of Trinity College London and a Colleague of the Royal College of Organists.

Amongst David’s other musical commitments he is secretary of the Portsmouth & District Organists’ Association and Organs’ Adviser for the Diocese of Portsmouth.

Graham Kidd studied Music at Colchester Institute and graduated with a BA(Hons) in 2005.

Graham has been involved in church music since the age of 14, when he became one of a team of organists at his local church. Since then, he has been involved in church music in various churches in a variety of contexts.

From October 2019, Graham has been Director of Music at St. Faith’s Church, Havant, where he plays the organ, leads the 20-strong choir and oversees the very popular monthly Come and Sing Choral Evensong services. Since February 2022, Graham has been going into Bosmere Junior School in Havant to lead “Faith in Harmony”, an outreach programme focusing on church music. Since its inception, Faith in Harmony have sung for two lunchtime concerts in St. Faith’s Church and participated in a special Choral Evensong at Portsmouth Cathedral.

Graham became the musical director of Sarisbury Choral Society in 2009. Over the last 14 years, the choir has continued to participate in the annual Winchester and County Music Festival and support various events in the local community, including their annual successful Christmas concert held annually at the beginning of December. Graham is also a Deputy Lay Clerk at Chichester and Portsmouth Cathedrals.

Away from choirs and singing, Graham teaches Piano at three Secondary school in Hampshire.
