J Edwards Funeral Directors

This year, we are again asking that your own chairs are not brought in to the concert venue - we will provide seating. You are welcome to bring your own chairs and tables for picnics in the church grounds from 6pm, and we will store your chairs and tables in the church hall during the performance.

Note for disabled ticket holders: Space will be at a premium for this performance, and so if you are attending in a wheelchair, we request that for your comfort and safety you let us know in advance, so that we can reserve space for you. You can email us at wmf@stgeorgesnews.org quoting your booking reference number.  Thank you for your understanding.

The Festival Grand Finalé. Always a wonderful occasion.
Thrilling atmosphere, all the pomp and ceremony of the real thing,
Rule Britannia, Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory!
Sing your heart out whilst waving the Union Jack!

Denmead Brass was formerly known as Cosham Concert Brass but is now based in Denmead. The Band rehearse in the Denmead Community Centre on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings and perform at a wide variety of venues for concerts, competitions, Church services, weddings, charity functions and seasonal celebrations.

There is a Training band open to all ages and abilities that meet in the Community Centre on Sunday Mornings.

The Band is fully self funded through subscriptions, donations and concert income.

The Conductor of Denmead Brass is Estelle Flood, who was until recently Head of Music at Oaklands School. She has a vast wealth of brass band experience and ability.

Members of the Band come from a diverse background from engineers to nurses and civil servants to painters and decorators! They all play for their own enjoyment and hope you appreciate the programme tonight.
