Music to your ears

Two local choirs, Village Voices from Emsworth and the Solent Male Voice Choir who are based in Havant, are joining together for a concert in St Faiths Church, Havant on Saturday 14th October.

The concert, which starts at 7.30pm, will feature the two choirs’ songs from their own inimitable and contrasting repertoires.

Village Voices is a mixed voice SATB choir and has 53 members. In contrast the Solent Male Voice Choir is, as their name suggests, an all male choir singing in four-part harmony.

The two choirs will combine for some songs culminating in a grand finale of George Frederick Handel’s Zadok the Priest.Tickets, at £10, can be obtained online at
https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/solent-male-voice-choir or through choir members, or even on the door on the day.

For more information go to either choirs’ websites.
