Together we Chime.
Let the Nation’s Bells Ring Loud

On 8th May 1945 at 6.30pm, church bells across the United Kingdom rang to proclaim Victory in Europe. To celebrate the 80th anniversary of V E Day, Cathedrals and Churches across the nation will ring out in united celebration.

In Waterlooville, St George’s church bells will be participating in this VE Day 80 tribute to those who fought for the freedom we all enjoy today.

“Together, we honour the past and celebrate a future built on unity, hope, love and peace”.
