Gillian Griffiths, 1947 - 2025

The funeral of Gillian Griffiths took place at The Oaks Crematorium on Friday 28th March 2025.

Gillian and her mother Ruth were long time members of Mothers’ Union and of St George’s Church.

Gillian originally began training as a nurse but was not physically strong enough. She had various jobs, the last one being a Secretary at Langtham Lodge Care Home.

She never married, and lived with her mother taking care of her as her health failed.

After her mother died, she moved in to Oaklands Flats in Holly Drive. Poor health in later years meant she had to give up driving and limited her mobility.

She is remembered as being a kind, gentle lady.
